The Dallas Housing Authority (DHA) has a simple mission - to provide qualified families with safe, decent and affordable housing of the highest quality consistent with available funding. The uncertain economic times we are experiencing have made the way the mission is carried out more critical than ever. We have to ensure that we rein in administrative spending to maximize the funding available to improve the properties we own, explore new development opportunities in a wider range of neighborhoods and expand our partnerships with others who share our vision.     Reminder! Housing Quality Standard Inspection results are available via the owner/agent web portal. Inspection results will no longer be mailed effective June 1st, 2013. In order to obtain the inspection results, you must logon to the portal and access the inspection for the property you would like to review.

    The Dallas Housing Authority Notice of Award of the Contract for the Availability of 50 Section 8 PBVs for A Pilot Program of Permanent Supportive Housing for Persons with Developmental or Intellectual Disabilities, tentatively scheduled for April 23, 2013, has been postponed until May 24, 2013 (date approximate).     Clients are seen by appointment ONLY, during these hours of operation. Clients will not be assisted, and no receipt will be given, after these hours.

    RFTA /HAP Contract Hours of Operation:

    Monday –Thursday 8:00am to 4:30pm  and Friday 8:00am to 11:00am.
